Family and friends will assemble at the gravesite at Dickson Union Cemetery on Thursday morning, October 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. for graveside funeral services. Jim Rountree will officiate. There will be no visitation prior to services. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.
Nancy Paulette Hooper, age 72, of Dickson, TN died Tuesday October 10th at NHC at the Trace.
She was born in Dickson on November 18, 1950, to Kenneth and Mary Sue Lyle Hooper. Paulette grew up in Sylvia, attending Sylvia Elementary and Charlotte High School. After graduation, she enrolled in and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a degree in Education. She spent her career teaching kindergarten and second grade in Dickson. In her retirement, she spent many hours knitting. She loved knitting baby blankets for newborns.
Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Sue. She is survived by her brother Randy (Malinda), nephew Daniel Hooper, Niece Rachel Rich (Michael) and great nephew Eli Rich.
