Roger Lincoln Allen of Mt. Carmel,TN, formerly resided in Burns, TN passed away at the age of 76 on October, 21,2023 surrounded by his family.
He was born February 12, 1947 in Jolo, West Virginia to James and Elizabeth (Blankenship) Allen.
He is a U.S. army veteran. He married Darlene (Himes) on October 31, 1970. She passed away February 15, 2022. Roger enjoyed listening to music, fishing, golfing, playing guitar, watching sports, and spending time with his great granddaughters Sophie and newest addition Kinlee Jo.
He is survived by his daughter Teresa (Sonny) Thompson of Statesville, NC. His son Christopher (Christine) Allen of Elkhart, IN. His 6 grandchildren Kristin (Timothy) Parker of Mount Carmel, TN, Kelsey (Luis) Prochaska of Weston, NE, Kody (Jacqulyn) Gerger of Indianapolis, IN, Andrew (Carissa) Allen of Flint, MI, Christopher Allen II, and Aereann Stacy of AK. His 4 great-grandchildren Sophie Marie Parker, Sophia Allen, Christopher Allen III, and Kinlee Jo Gerger. He has 2 living sisters Carol (Gene) Marcum of Bristol TN. and Diane Lasley of Elkhart IN.
He is preceded in death by his wife Darlene, his father, mother and his sister Bonnie.
His wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
