Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. The place of rest will be in the Bluff View Memorial Gardens in Kingston Springs TN. Visitation will be on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
Those desiring memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Sandra Jean Savage White, age 76, of Kingston Springs, TN died peacefully December 5, 2023, at NHC The Trace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emrys & Mildred Foreman Savage, her sister Donna Smith, Brother-in-law Bill Smith, her Aunt Marie Costello, uncle George Costello and many other loved ones.
Sandy was the most caring, loving, and selfless woman who loved family more than anything else. She raised two kids as a single mother while going to school and working two jobs. She was a Paralegal by trade and cherished the work and relationships she created over the 42 years in her career! She loved life and was always on the move. She loved walking and doing whatever it took to stay active. She had the best sense of humor, and you were sure to have hurt cheeks from laughing so much when around her. Her love for her grandchildren was like no other. She was the best Memaw and truly cherished her grandchildren and spending time with them. She loved spending time at the beach as well, especially with her Menopause Mamas and her special recipe margaritas! That was a mixture sure to create a lifetime of memories!
She was the best confidante and best friend you could ever imagine! There are no words to describe how much she will be missed on this earth, but we know she is dancing and having the best time now because she is free from the pain and suffering, she so desperately did not deserve!
She is survived by her two children; Steve White (Aimee), and Melissa Harrison (Jerry Chuska), her grandchildren; Erica Morales (Nikki), Jeanna Hodge (Lee), Blake Harrison (Dwayna), Liam McClennon and Preslee White, her great grandchildren; Sloane Everlee Hodge and Olivia James Hodge. Also surviving are her niece; Andrea Smith ( Dave Gaddis ), her nephews; Dan Smith (Cheryl) and Mark Smith (Donna).
