Samuel Ross Owle, III, age 56 of Slayden, TN passed away Friday December 15, 2023 at his home. Born in Trenton, NJ on July 27, 1967, he was the son of the late Samuel Ross Owle, Jr. and Joan Meier Pennington. Samuel, always known as Sam to those who knew and loved him, he was a quiet man who helped all that needed him. Sam loved his job working at Wal-Mart in Dickson, where he spent many years in the Tire and Lube Express eventually making his way to Vendor Check-in Clerk. He was employed 33 years, and where he met the love of his life, his wife, Kim. They spent nearly 30 years together.
Sam loved to tinker with cars with his sons, Forrest and Zachary, mow the yard at their home, and especially tending to the grounds at the Jarman Family Cemetery where his mother and extended family are buried. Along with his parents Sam was also preceded in death by brother, Roy Owle; his father and mother-in-law, Lester and Loretta Jarman, whom he felt were just as much parents to him as his own; his sister-in-law, Katie Trotter, whom he would visit at her resting place often.

Sam is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Jarman Owle; sons, Zachary and Forrest Jarman; daughter, Kaitlyn Jarman; sister, Melissa Pennington Green; he has an extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews who will love and miss him dearly, as well as many pets, especially his dogs, Coco and Rudy.
