A funeral service for Raymond Morris Fleet will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Bohanon officiating. Interment will be in the Waynick Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Mr. Fleet died on Saturday, February 10, 2024, he was 83 years old.
Mr. Fleet was born March 10, 1940 in Dickson County, a son of the late Margaret Adel Waynick Fleet and Daniel Morris Fleet. Raymond had been a baker for the Dolly Madison Bakery in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a devoted Christian and attended the Church of God of Prophecy. He was a talented musician and could play numerous instruments. He found joy in making music for his church. Raymond was a family man; he loved his family dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Fred Fleet, Armon Fleet, Eugene Fleet, Louie Fleet, and Flossie Young.
Mr. Fleet is survived by his wife, Alberta Daniel Allen Fleet; his children, Mark Fleet (Rhonda) and Jason Ray Fleet; grandchildren, Lexie Lynn Fleet, Taylor Raye Fleet, Tyler Etheridge; stepchildren, Veronica Smith (Philip), and Donald Allen (Kim); step grandchildren, Matthew James, Daniel Smith, and Donovan Allen (Nicole); step great grandchildren, Lily James, Caleb Smith. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
