Funeral services for Bob Lee Sisco, Jr., age 85 of Dickson, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. The service will begin with a Masonic Memorial service conducted by McEwen Lodge #525, F&AM, and the Dickson Area Shrine Club. His chapel service will follow with Bro. Jeff Lankford officiating. Interment will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. until service time. FOR THOSE DESIRING, MEMORIALS MAY BE MADE TO SHRINER’S CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. Mr. Sisco died March 6, 2024 at Horizon Medical Center.
Born in Madison County, Alabama, Bob was the son of the late Bob Lee Sisco, Sr. and the late Mattie Ella Isbell Sisco Westmark. He retired as an Electrical Engineer, having worked for TVA and several private contractors. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob enjoyed his relationship with the Masonic fraternity. He was a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Dover, Tennessee and was currently a member of McEwen Lodge #525. Bob was also a member of the York Rite and Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and a member of Al Menah Shrine Temple, where he was active in the Motorcycle Corps and the Clown Unit. He was also a volunteer Jr. Pro football coach in Dover, TN, for many years. Above all, he loved the Lord and his family and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Faye Brown Sisco, Dickson; a daughter, Kelly Sisco Hoesly (Terry) of Nashville; daughter-in-law, Molly Sisco, Dickson; granddaughter, Sydney D. Sisco, Columbia, TN; great-granddaughter, Callie A. Nowak. He was predeceased by his son, Devin Sisco.
