Visitation with Kim's family will be on Saturday, March 23, 2024 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. There will be no formal funeral service held. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Kimberly Dawn Wallace, age 58 of Dickson, TN departed this life suddenly on March 12, 2024. She was born February 4, 1966 to the late Larry “Chicken” Myatt and Brenda Myatt Parchment (Thomas).
Kim is survived by her husband of 21 years, Kurt S. Wallace; her mother, Brenda Parchment (Thomas); her daughters, Erica Pendergrass (Jamey), and Victoria Barber (Eli Lucas); son, Joshua Wallace (Jordyn); grandchildren, Adia Anerin, Dallas Pendergrass, Molly Lucas, Lilly Wallace, Jay Wallace, Allison Pendergrass and Jake Pendergrass.
Kimberly was a professional in dentistry with over 40 years in orthodontics. She recently attended Meharry Medical College - School of Dentistry, graduating as a certified E.F.D.A. (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). She was employed by Marquee Dental Partners, and worked with Dr. Lauren Fields in Franklin, TN. She loved her work and especially her patients. She loved her children and her grandchildren so much. Her love for life, adventure, and travel took her to many places. From scuba diving in Hawaii or snorkeling with whale sharks to sailing the British Virgin Islands. Cruising the Caribbean and watching the sunset was one of her most cherished things to enjoy. Kimberly loved life and it showed. Her beauty was radiant in her eyes and in her smile. Her daughter said that “Just like her name, Dawn…she was a bright light that touched the lives of everyone around her. She will be truly missed by her family.
