Ida Mable Porter, age 90 of Dickson, TN passed away Sunday April 14, 2024. Born in Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Cage and Bertha Richardson Baggett and was preceded in death by her husband, Doss William “Billy” Porter; her siblings, Jack, John, James and Raymond Baggett, Evelyn Brown, Betty Ann Baggett. Mable worked in sales for the former Town & Country clothing store and later at Touch of Class Jewelry Store. During her stay at Olive Branch Mable was known to go around and leave a peppermint at all the rooms. If there are peppermints in heaven, she is handing them out. Mable was a member of the Sylvia Church of Christ.

Survived by her daughter, Teresa Perales (Kenny) of Dickson, TN; son, Doss William “Willie” Porter, Jr. (Marlene) of Dickson, TN; brothers, O’Neil Baggett of Dickson, TN, Donald Baggett of Nashville, TN; sister, Wanda Glass of Dickson, TN; 3 grandchildren, Shay William Porter (Mary), Kendall Dawn Porter, Jaclyn Ann Tomlinson (Daniel); 6 great grandchildren, Isaac Tomlinson, Ezekiel Tomlinson, Greyson Zuller, Jamison Huff, Willow Benner, Kay Goodstien; several nieces and nephews.
