Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 2PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Zach Ragan officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.
Anthony “Tony” Jay Collins, age 54, of Dickson, TN, passed away on June 17, 2024, at NHC Healthcare.
Tony was born on November 23, 1969, in Saugus, California to Ray Collins and the late Pamela Jean Ratliff Collins. Tony was 54 years young when he peacefully crossed over the heavenly border. He spent nothing short of 54 years changing the lives around him. Tony’s childhood curiosity and mischief shaped him into the kind of person that could lighten any situation with humor and gave years of hilarious stories to reminisce upon.
Go kart racing was his passion; he earned many first-place medals and awards. He enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was the best in the business of his occupation which was a skilled machinist. He took pride in his work and all who worked with him looked up to him. Tony enjoyed sharing his knowledge on various subjects with others. His motto was work smarter, not harder. As his body declined with ALS, he often said, “If I can make people smile, I still have a purpose”.
He impacted the lives of those that he met and even those he did not directly meet through his living testimony. He loved his three children and all of his grandchildren. His family was blessed to have the special time with him to make sweet memories, but he will be deeply missed for all the days to come. His body is at rest with his heavenly Father and his mother, Pam.

Survivors include his daughter; Jourden Biddulph (Jacob) of Dickson, TN, his sons; Deryk Collins of Dickson, TN, Landon Collins (Kirsten) of Dickson, TN, his father; Ray Collins (Hannah) of Dickson, TN, his sisters; Tonya Heathco of Dickson, TN, Tammy Litcofsky (Barry) of Nunnelly, TN, grandchildren; Peyton Collins, Briley Adkins, Layton Adkins, Greyson Biddulph, Aiden Collins, nephews; Zach Ragan, Cory Ragan, Cody Lee, Isaac Litcofsky, and several great nieces and nephews.
