Funeral services will be Tuesday January 21, 2025 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Minister John Paul Jones officiating. Place of rest will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Houston County. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday January 21st from 10 AM until time of service.
Shirley Jean Allsbrooks, age 85 of Vanleer, TN passed away Saturday January 18, 2025. Born in Vanleer, TN she was the daughter of the late Cliffton and Maurine Williams Singleton and was preceded in death by her husband, Marilon Thomas “Bud” Allsbrooks; her children, Kenny Allsbrooks and Carol Hasley; her grandchildren, Gavin Allsbrooks, Eric Allsbrooks and Daniel Allsbrooks, and 9 brothers and sisters. Shirley worked as a bookbinder for Jostens and was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include her children, Thomas Allsbrooks (Deana) of Cumberland Furnace, TN, Jerry Allsbrooks (Gianna) of Bristol, TN, Calvin Allsbrooks (Crystal) of Clarksville, TN; 16 grandchildren; 20 plus great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
