Melba “Darlene” Williams Alexander, age 73 of Bon Aqua, passed away on June 24, 2025, at Tri-Star Natchez ER, in Dickson. She was born on August 9, 1951, in Nashville, TN, to the late James Williams Sr. and Bobbie Johnson England.
Darlene worked as a CNA, most recently for Developmental Services of Dickson County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: James Williams, Jr.; her granddaughter: Brittany Tidwell; and her stepson: Jerry Alexander.
Survivors include her children: Brad Tidwell (Tammy) of Lyles, Michael Alexander (Michelle) of Dickson, Michelle Brown (Rodney) of Bon Aqua, Robert Alexander of Dickson, and Angie Harrison (Randall) of Munford; her brother: Tery Williams of White Bluff; and her sister: Mary “Sissy” Williams of White Bluff. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Alexander’s wishes were for cremation. Her family will hold a Celebration of Life service that will be announced at a later date.
