David Joseph Unkel, age 63 of Tennessee Ridge, passed away on September 17, 2025, at Horizon Medical Center of Dickson. He was born on September 19, 1961, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to the late August Joseph Unkel and Ruth Valeria Titus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother: Marie Unkel; and a grandchild: Millie Black.
Survivors include his children: Becca Anderson (Michael) and Krista Black, both of Vanleer; his siblings: Charlie Unkel, Mike Unkel (Dorothy), John Unkel, Johnny Mike Lyle (Kay), Mary Treat (Mike), Bonnie Maynard (Bob), Connie Thomas (Robert), and Laura Young (Michael); his grandchildren: Jackie Anderson, Will Black and Kinsley Black; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Unkel’s wishes were for cremation. There are no formal services planned at this time.
