Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 2pm from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Randy Franklin will officiate and Dale Ragan will share remarks. Visitation will be on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 4PM until 8PM and on Saturday from 12PM until the time of service. Burial will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 2PM at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dickson County Help Center.
Raymond Keith Tidwell, age 68, of Dickson, TN, passed away on July 15, 2024.
Raymond was born on July 12, 1956, to the late William W. Tidwell and Delphine Cody Tidwell. Raymond worked for Ragan Furniture, beginning under Henry Ragan, at age 17. He later joined the United States Air Force and returned to Ragan Furniture, where he worked many years. He was a great dad, who enjoyed fishing and loved watching Westerns and discussing politics.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; James “Jay” Wesley Tidwell, Mitchell “Mickey” Wayne Tidwell, and his sister; Diana Pack.
Survivors include his sons; Jeremy Tidwell of Burns, TN, Matthew Tidwell of Nashville, TN, his brother; Charles “Chuck” Tidwell of Dickson, TN, his sister; Anita McClurkan (Greg) of Dickson, TN, his aunt; Opal Giddens of Ohio, several nieces and nephews.
