Funeral services will be Friday January 24, 2025 at 2 PM at the White Bluff Church of Christ with Bro. Doug Couch officiating. Visitation with the family will be Thursday January 23rd from 4 to 8 PM and on Friday from 11 AM until time of service all at the church. Those desiring memorials may be made to the White Bluff Church of Christ.
Janet Fuqua Osborne, age 72 of White Bluff, TN passed away Saturday January 18, 2025. Born in Nashville, TN on March 3, 1952. She was preceded in death by her father, Burton Nichols Fuqua, her mother, Edna Ruth Briggs Kirby and her father that raised her after Mr. Fuqua’s passing, Gerald Austin Kirby, Sr., her son, David Osborne. Janet had worked as a Cosmetologist and was a member of the White Bluff Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Larry Osborne of White Bluff, TN; children, Jeremy Daniel Osborne (Tammy) of White Bluff, TN, Katherine “Katie” Grace Vermilyea (Josh) of Dickson, TN, Rachel Osborne Otieno of Memphis, TN; brother, Gerald “Jerry” A. Kirby (Cindy) of Hendersonville, TN; sisters, Virginia Gayle Bell of Ashland City, TN, Tina Kirby Hale (Jeff) of White House, TN; 8 grandchildren, Nicholas Osborne, Elijah Osborne, Blake Vermilyea, Skyler Vermilyea, Charles Otieno, Jr., John David Otieno, Benjamin Otieno, Eli Staton; several nieces and nephews.
