Graveside services for Sandra Faye Knuckles, age 79 of White Bluff, will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Dickson County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Matt Harris officiating. Following the service, she will be interred next to her late husband, John Anthony Knuckles. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22nd at Empowered Ministries Church on Christy Drive in Dickson. She departed this life on Thursday, February 20th at her home. For those desiring, memorials are suggested to Christian radio station KLOVE 97.1 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Sandra was the daughter of the late Learton and Edith Dawson Whitfield. She previously worked for the State of Tennessee in the Child Support Division. She was a member of Empowered Ministries Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Gwen Lowman, a sister, Patsy Rivers, a brother, Dennis Whitfield, and by her grandson, Jason Perez.
Sandra was a woman of God. She loved people. She would open her home to others, and she would always make people feel like family. A good listener, she would give Godly advice. She loved working in her garden and planting flowers. And she enjoyed listening to her praise music and watching Blue Bloods. She will certainly be missed by her family and friends!
Survivors include her son, Nathan Knuckles, of Missouri; her daughter, Christy Perez (Ray), of Dickson; a brother, Dale Whitfield; her grandchildren, Cameron Knuckles, Kayla Knuckles, Micah Lowman, Daniel Lowman, Raymond Perez, Christina Perez; great-grandchildren, Alexis Perez and Raymond Perez, Mae Neese; great granddaughter in law, Jennifer Perez.
