A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Life House Fellowship Church in Joelton, TN. Visitation will be held on Saturday beginning at 12 Noon until the time of service.
Barbara Jean Bishop Buchanan, age 88, of Burns, TN, passed away on May 22, 2025.
Barbara was born in Burns, TN on October 17, 1936, to the late George Carl Bishop and Violet Brown Bishop. Barbara spent most of her time taking care of the home and children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Dean Buchanan Sr, and son, David Buchanan.
Survivors include her sons, Dean (Ashlee) Buchanan, Danny (Debbie) Buchanan, Joe (Jennifer) Buchanan, and daughter, Barbie (Tommy) Munday, 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren (with 1 more on the way), 9 great-great grandchildren (with 1 more on the way).
