Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Shane Harris and Tommy Marvin will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday June 17th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Place of rest will be in the Outlaw Acres Cemetery on their family farm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Taylor Funeral Home to ease the burden of end-of-life expenses.
Jeffery Blake Edwards, “Bubba” to his mama and daddy, sisters, nieces and nephews, was a lifelong resident of Sylvia, TN. He gained his wings on June 12, 2025, at the age of 35.
Blake was born at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN on November 14. 1989 to Jeff and Stephanie Edwards. He was the middle of 3 children. He was a graduate of Creek Wood High Schools Class of 2009 and turned a lifelong love of mowing into a career at Edwards Lawn and Landscape.
Blake was an all-around good ol’ country boy who loved his family, friends and farming. He could be found most days tinkering on his granddaddy’s porch. He loved dirt roads, country music, red tractors and square body Chevys. He had a key for everything and was never without a pocketknife and a can of dip. He had the biggest smile, the best teddy bear hugs, and a servant’s heart. His infectious laughter and light-hearted pranks could be found at the center of just about any gathering. He truly brought happiness to those around him.
Blake was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Clifford and Virginia Outlaw, Bedford and Lola Shelton, his granddaddy, Sonny Edwards, his uncle’s, Steve Edwards, Scotty Harris, Randy Gill, his aunt, Sherry Gill, his cousins, Mikayla and Izzy Harris and Cooper Vaupel, his nephew, Blakelee Bass, his niece Lainee Blake Christian and his best friend Cody England.
Blake is survived by his parents Jeff and Stephanie Edwards, his Sisters, Brittany Bass (Blake) and Brooke Christian (Dakota), Grandmothers, Rachel Harris and Linda Jones, Uncle, Shane Harris (April), Aunts, Gay Bush (Kenny), Tashia Bowen (Pat), Belinda Edwards, Rhonda Harris, Nieces, Emerson and Aniston Bass, Nephews, Bentlee, Leeam and Baylor Bass, Cousins, Hunter, Noah, Zach, Mimmie, Thomas, and Adam Harris, Daniel Edwards, Megan Redden, Autumn Yates and Noah Hafner, Best Friends, John Hamilton and Amanda Sanders, His little sidekicks, Riley and Stetson Sanders.

Blake’s family has been so humbled by every call, text, visit, and prayer from friends old and new. They wish to extend their sincere thanks to the entire staff at Horizon Medical Center for the unparalleled and compassionate care bestowed upon Blake during his last few days on earth.
