Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Baggett officiating. Entombment will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation with the family will take place on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Barbara Ann Austin Donegan, 90 years old, of Dickson, TN, passed away on August 20, 2025. She was born on October 29, 1934, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of the late Willie Ray Young Barber. She was a longtime member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Donegan was preceded in death by her parents: Everett and Willie Barber; her first husband: William Dale Donegan; her second husband: Billy Bishop Wood; and her brothers: Hubert Austin, Bruce Austin, and John Bryant Austin.
Survivors include her children: Scott Austin Donegan (Carolyn) of Freeport, TX, and Susan Hall (Mark) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren: Sharon VanCleave (Vince) of Abilene, TX, Leah Hess (Alex) of Palmer, AK, and Jordan Hall of Houston, TX; her brother-in-law: Jerry Donegan of Ashland City; her great-grandchildren: Mackenzie VanCleave, Wilson Hess, Aubrey Hess, Hulon Hess, and Mckenzie Hess; as well as several nieces and nephews.
