  Family and friends will meet at the graveside at Dickson County Memorial Gardens for the interment service for Buddie Lewis Rogers, age 85, of Clarksville, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  For those desiring, memorials may be made to your local Humane Society or Animal Rescue.  Mr. Rogers died Saturday morning, August 23, 2025 at Mulberry Health and Rehab in Franklin. 

Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Buddie was the son of the late Norvel and Nora McCutcheon Rogers.  He served his country in the U. S. Navy as Chaplain.  Buddie retired as a pressman for the Dothan (Alabama) Eagle newspaper.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Glinda Aycock Rogers; two brothers, Roy Rogers and Paul Rogers and by two sisters, Ilo Rogers and Rhea Nestor.

Survivors include his two daughters, Karen Rogers and Melissa (and Kevin) Parker, all of Clarksville; a brother, Ronald Rogers (Carol) of Bridgeport, West Virginia; three grandsons, Holden Parker, Landon Parker, and Dawson Parker, all of Clarksville; and by one niece, Doris Rogers of Clarksburg, West Virginia.
