Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, November 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Scott Cemetery in Cheatham County.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Cheatham County Animal Control for the love and care of their animals.

Judy Gail Crocker Harris, age 77 of Ashland City, TN died peacefully at her home on Tuesday November 18, 2025.

She was born in Cheatham County and was the daughter of the late Paul Clifford (Rip) and Cleo Taylor Miller. Judy was preceded in death by her son Danny Duke. She was educated in Cheatham and Dickson County schools and graduated from William James High School in White Bluff, TN, Class of 1966. She worked for many years with the State of Tennessee in the personnel department.  She attended the Highland Park Church in Nashville.

Judy spent many hours in retirement reading and enjoying a good book. She collected silhouette pictures and loved collecting antiques.  Judy loved spending time with her husband traveling around to different places. She especially loved her time at Gulf Shores.  Really close to her heart were her longtime friends spending time with each other, going and doing. Judy had a strong connection and love for her cats, Tom and Annie and all of those before them.

Judy loved life and all that it had to give her.  Her personality was contagious and had the great ability to make you laugh or smile.

Judy is survived by her husband Robin Harris of Ashland City, TN, her stepdaughter, Emily Harris of Springfield, TN, her sister, Janice Crocker of White Bluff, TN and her two kitty companions Tom and Annie.
