Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, July 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Chanc Strickland officiating. Visitation will be on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Scott Cemetery.
Those desiring, memorials are suggested to Alive Hospice or to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Judith Kay Palmore Street know by family and friends as Judy, age 85, of Kingston Springs, Tennessee died peacefully July 28, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville after a short stay.
Judy was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Louise Marsh Palmore. She was the widow of the late Jerry Street who died in 2002. At his death they were married for 45 years. She was a homemaker and mother and a member of the Harpeth Baptist Church.
Judy loved life and most often she was the life of the party. She loved the view of a good-looking man, she adored Elvis Presley and every song he ever sang. Judy loved crossword puzzles, bingo, dancing and singing. She could really get into some Mark Harmon in the show NCIS and was glued to the television while watching Tom Selleck in Blue Bloods. All the above she truly enjoyed and was entertained by before Alzheimer’s and after Alzheimer’s.
Judy is survived by her three daughters, Kim Street, Lisa Cathey and her husband, Benny, and Angie Street all of White Bluff, TN, her three grandchildren, Michael Rodgers and his wife Misty, Corey Rodgers and his wife Jennifer and Evie Cornwell, her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Clarissa, Brooke, Emily, Karly, James and her great- great grandchildren, Scarlett, Riley, Lainey, Jensen, Connor, Liam, Hayen and Sage. Numerous nieces and nephews.
