Judith Kay Palmore Street known by family and friends as Judy, age 85, of Kingston Springs, Tennessee died peacefully July 28, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville after a short stay.
Judy was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Louise Marsh Palmore. She was the widow of the late Jerry Street who died in 2002. At his death they were married for 45 years. She was a homemaker and mother and a member of the Harpeth Baptist Church.
Judy loved life and most often she was the life of the party. She loved the view of a good-looking man, she adored Elvis Presley and every song he ever sang. Judy loved crossword puzzles, bingo, dancing and singing. She could really get into some Mark Harmon in the show NCIS and was glued to the television while watching Tom Selleck in Blue Bloods. All the above she truly enjoyed and was entertained by before Alzheimer’s and after Alzheimer’s.
Judy is survived by her three daughters, Kim Street, Lisa Cathey and her husband, Benny, and Angie Street all of White Bluff, TN, her three grandchildren, Michael Rodgers and his wife Misty, Corey Rodgers and his wife Jennifer and Evie Cornwell, her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Clarissa, Brooke, Emily, Karly, James and her great- great grandchildren, Scarlett, Riley, Lainey, Jensen, Connor, Liam, Hayden and Sage. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy was a very fun person to be around and I haven’t seen her long time. Probably at Burns Park at the luncheons we folks
enjoy going to when our local Banks Thanksgiving and Christmas Parties. Now she has moved on to heaven our Lord and Savior
where she will see her love ones and her friends. No more pain loss of memory ………..again sorry to her family and big hugs….

Lisa, I enjoyed getting to know your mom at Barton House. Her face always lit up when your name was mentioned. She loved talking about how hard your dad worked for your family. I didn’t see this in time to make the service, but you will be in my prayers.
Kim,Lisa, and Angie…so sorry to hear about Judy. Always thought the world of her working together at Pendergrass. RIP Judy!
Dear Lisa, Martha Ann & I were so sad to learn of “Miss Judy’s” passing when I was at Barton House yesterday, Sunday. I regret we knew about this too late to attend the visitation/service. We so enjoyed getting to know her, loving her big smile, & seeing her face light up when we came in…even through Alzheimer’s, you could see her delightful personality & fun-loving spirit. We share this great loss with you & your family, knowing what a tremendous void her passing leaves for each one of you. Lisa, we witnessed you biii so loving, faithful, & patient with her when it wasn’t always easy to deal with the ravages of Alzheimer’s…I am thankful she no longer has to experience those symptoms & anxieties. Sending love & prayers!
❤️ Debbie Brewer, niece of Miss Shirley who lovingly called her Lois!! 😊…along with Martha Ann, my daughter
