Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Ray Grimes, age 87 of Dickson will beconducted Saturday August 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Worley Furnace Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Ward officiating. Place of rest was in the Worley Furnace Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 1PM until time of service.Services are under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Mrs. Grimes died Thursday August 22, 2013 at NHC Health Care. A native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Lillie Mae Hall Horner and was the widow of William “Fox” Grimes. She had worked for the former Schrader Automotive and after that at the Senior Citizen Center. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Mitchell Grimes, Cleo Grimes and Deadrick Grimes all of Dickson; brother, Homer B. Horner of Dickson; sister, Edna Green of Dickson; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
