A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 1PM from the United Methodist Church in White Bluff.
Amy Elizabeth Tangerstrom, age 69, of White Bluff, TN, passed away on September 3, 2026.
Amy was born on November 1, 1956, in Nashville, TN to the late Selen Tangerstom and Amy Louise Spicer. After earning her bachelor’s degree, amy worked as a librarian at the TN State Library for many years. She was a member of the White Bluff United Methodist Church. Amy always had a great love for animals and donated to the Perry County Humane Society regularly. She enjoyed listening to audio books and reading; along with playing cribbage at El Monte Restaurant in White Bluff.
She is survived by her son, Logan Cline of White Bluff, TN, her daughter, Arlo Tangerstrom of Lewisburg, TN, her best friend, Tina Grove of White Bluff, TN.

Such a loving and generous person. She was a loyal friend and will be missed.
My heart is saddened upon hearing of Amy’s death. Amy and I became close when we both pledged the APO Service Fraternity while attending Austin Peay. Amy stood by me during some of the hardest times of my life. Unfortunately, we lost lost touch after I left. We would occasionally run into each other and promise to stay in touch, but we didn’t. i will never forget the tears in eyes when I told her I named my daughter after her.
My deepest condolences to all of her family and friends who loved her so much. I’m praying for God’s comfort and peace for you all.

I didn’t hear of Amy’s passing until after the memorial. We weren’t extremely close in recent years, due to different paths, but spent a lot of time together during our younger years. She had an infectious smile & great personality. I will miss knowing that she is no longer around town to run into.
