Funeral services will be Saturday October 27, 2018 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. John Maltis officiating. Place of rest will be in the Southerland Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday October 27th from 11 AM until time of service.
Mr. Bobby Hartwell Moore, age 85 of Clarksville, TN died Wednesday October 24, 2018. Born in Dickson County he was the son of the late Norman E. and Goldie Hooper Moore and was preceded in death by his wife, Gerlene “Gerry” Elizabeth Story Moore, his daughter, Deborah Kaye Moore, his brothers, Donnie Moore, Russ Moore, his sister, Martha Holland. Bobby was the former owner of Moore’s Office Supplies & Furniture. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War. Bobby was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his sons, Jeff Moore (Cheryl) of Indian Mound, TN, Joey Moore (Rose) of Clarksville, TN, Jimmy Moore (Michelle) of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Linda Downey (Doug) of Springfield, TN; brother, Steve Moore of White Bluff, TN; sisters, Peg Donegan of Dickson, TN, Barbara Siler of Dickson, TN; 5 grandchildren, Jake Downey (Brittani), Michael Moore, Robert Moore, Deborah Moore, Jack Moore; 1 great grandchild, Chandler Downey; several nieces and nephews.
