Charles Lawrence “Chuck” Horn, age 69, of Burns, died Thursday, October 15, 2026, at his home. Chuck’s request was to be cremated with no formal public service.
Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Chuck was the son of the late Merlin E. and Barbara A. Somers Horn. He was a licensed respiratory therapist, and he worked in medical sales. He loved his family and was an avid fisherman. He possessed many fishing skills and was happy to be able to share these skills with others.
He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Debby Horn of Charlotte; a daughter, Ashley Horn Meyers (Matt) of Kingston Springs, TN; a son, Joshua A. Horn of White Bluff; his stepmother, Barbara Jean Horn of Wisconsin; three brothers, John M. Horn (“Deb”) of Kentucky, Jim Horn of Arkansas, and Ken Horn of Connecticut; a sister, Cathy Horn Rosenfeld (Keith) of Connecticut; stepsister, Tammy Strobusch (Al) of Wisconsin; and by two grandchildren, Raleigh Meyers and Hazel Grace Meyers.
