Chester Andy Bush

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 1PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 4PM until 8PM and again on Sunday, from 11AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Bush Cemetery.

Chester Andy Bush, age 68, of Dickson, TN, passed away on June 9, 2026.

Chester was born on May 14, 1958, in Houston County, TN, to the late Steve Anderson Bush and Loretta Fay Stevenson. Chester was known by all as a jack of all trades, but loved working on old cars more than anything else. Everyone that knew Chester could expect to hear a good story or enjoy a laugh when he was around.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Steven “Ozzie” Bush, Clint Bush, his sister, Sherry Orton, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Hope Bush.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Fortner Weeda, his son, Chester Bush (Lori), his daughters, Sara Means (Daryl), Katie Remagen, his sister, Rachel Bush Leaster, numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
