CurRhonda Gail Long, age 57, of Springville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Born on March 6, 1969, in Dickson, Tennessee, CurRhonda was raised in Nashville and later made her home in Springville.

She attended Glencliff High School in Nashville and went on to graduate from Tennessee College of Applied Technology. A talented photographer and artist, CurRhonda had a creative spirit and an eye for beauty that she shared through her work. CurRhonda was a quiet soul with a caring heart, known for her kindness, humility, sense of humor, and fierce loyalty to her family and friends. She was an avid sports fan, especially cheering on the Tennessee Titans and the Tennessee Volunteers. She found great joy in simple pleasures—being on the lake, spending time at the beach, and cherishing moments with those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Trish Little of Louisville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Joshua Bloodworth and Kaylee Bloodworth of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; her sisters, Arnita Ozgener and husband Tim of Nashville, Tennessee, and Pamela Gougelman of Indialantic, Florida. A celebration of CurRhonda’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory to a GoFundMe account (named Honoring CurRhonda) to help support her daughter, Trisha Little, as she recovers from a brain injury caused by a severe stroke. Though she left us too soon, CurRhonda’s gentle spirit, love of family, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
