Dawn Marie Sampson, age 57 of Lyles, Tennessee, died March 19, 2026 at Horizon Medical Center. Her family is honoring her request that she be cremated without public visitation or memorial service.
She was born to Merrill Pegg and the late Linda Sampson Pegg. She had worked as a prep chef in the restaurant industry.
Survivors include her father, Merrill Pegg of Crofton, Kentucky; her children, Stephanie Sampson of Dickson, Sean Sampson of Lyles, TN, and Briana Porter of Dickson; five grandchildren, Nathaniel Sampson, Racheall Sullivan, Anthony Sullivan, Gavin Sullivan, and Scottie Hollis.

Dawn had a huge loving/caring heart. She was loved by so many and will be missed by plenty. Dawn was a very strong lady. I was blessed to have known Dawn. She was such a truly amazing person inside and out. I can’t believe she is now a beautiful angel in the sky. Rest easy until we meet again. 💕 love you ✨️🙏💝🕊
Dawn was a wonderful friend.I have so many great memories with her. we laughed a lot and of course did a lot of 420 lol ..she will be missed..I pray for her children and grandchildren to always remember her and love that she gave ..and for healing..
