Deborah Ann Brown “Debbie” was born January 31st,1948 in Dickson, TN, to the late Geraldine Lynn & Leslie Duel (L.D.) Filson. Debbie Passed peacefully to her heavenly home on October 9, 2026.
Debbie loved gardening and being outside and could get any plant or flower to grow & flourish! She was always a great cook and hosted many dinners and get-togethers with family and friends. Her greatest blessings called her Nana… She was a true Matriarch within her family and will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Giles (Brandon), son Anthony Ashworth (Scarlett), brother Michael Filson (Patsy), sister Brenda McDonald (Mike). Nieces & Nephews: Melinda Harris (Smith), Kody Filson (Melissa), Ronnie Urieff (Priscilla). Grandchildren: Cody Ashworth, Hunter Ashworth, Trevor Ashworth, Trey Ashworth, Landon Ashworth, Canaan Wortham, Peyton Fann (John) and several great nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. And her beloved fur baby Kiki.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sammy Brown, grandson Owen Giles, son Michael Ashworth (Julie) and grandson Kyler Spicer.
She selflessly made the decision many years ago to donate her remains to the Vanderbilt Anatomical Donation Program and requested that no service be held.
