Douglas Wendell Wrenn, age 72 of White Bluff, TN died on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
Wendell was born on November 9, 1953 in White Bluff, TN. He was carpenter by trade and used his skill to do millwork and build cabinets. He enjoyed working with his horses, and riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas Wrenn and Gladys Earlene Hamilton Wrenn; and a brother, James Allen Wrenn.
Wendell is survived by his son, Daniel Shane Wrenn (Christina); sister, Agnes Fay Gray; his grandchildren, Lindsay Wrenn, Brooke Wrenn, and Jonathan Wrenn

He was a good person. He would take Becca for car rides, buy her all the balls she loved, and sit and watch her run around the yard with her ball. You could tell how much he cared about her just by the little things he did.
Wendell was one of a kind. He lived to have fun and he was always the life of the party. I am very honored to have known Wendell and he will be missed immensely. RIP Rooster.

We’re so sorry to hear about Wendell. He was in my class at school. He was always quiet but had a great sense of humor. He was a kind man. My husband Jimmy Mash and Wendell went to carpentry school together through the union. What a pair! Haha! Wendell loved my blackberry pie. He’ll be missed.
