Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 3PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Larry Cochran will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 4PM until 8PM and on Thursday, from 1PM until the time of service. Burial will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12:15PM in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro, TN.
Eleanor A. Whitaker, age 83, of Dickson, TN, passed away on May 18, 2026.
Eleanor was born on May 6, 1943, in Lawrence County, TN, to the late Onus Henry Adams and Christine Shade Foust Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin Floyd Whitaker, her daughter, Julie Haynes, her son, Daniel Whitaker, and granddaughter, Grace Haynes, and several nieces and nephews.
