James Robert “Rob” Tipton, II age 58 of White Bluff, passed from this life on August 10, 2026, at Horizon Medical Center of Dickson. A graveside service will take place on Saturday at 12 noon in the Marvin Addition of the Dickson Union Cemetery.
James was born on January 23, 1968, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late James Robert Tipton and the late Susan Daves Tipton. He was a skilled painter for many years and was also a huge Cleveland Browns fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: James Travis “Bubbies” Tipton; and his siblings: Glenda Faye “Cricket” Spain and Melissa Diane Goodluck.
Survivors include his loving partner of 27 years: Judy Curfman; his son: Jacob Tipton of Gatlinburg; his sister: Linda Propps (Jack) of Dickson; his brother: Rusty Tipton of Dickson; and several nieces and nephews.
