Jeanetta Cornwell Lindsay, age 94 of Dickson, TN died on February 23, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Jaime Perkins officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the time of service. The interment service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
Mrs. Lindsay was born on January 25, 1932 in Ironton, Ohio. She was a daughter of the late Fred Cornwell and the late Emily Ferguson. On July 17, 1954 she married Thomas Patrick Lindsay while living in Pennsylvania. Shortly afterwards Tom reenlisted in Army and remained in the service until 1973. Jeanetta was a hard worker. She had worked in clothing manufacturing, and a jewelry counter in a department store. Most recently she and her husband were owners of the East 70 Furniture Store in Dickson, TN. Her most fulfilling role was taking care of her family. Jeanetta loved her family, she was a great wife, mom, and grandmother. She enjoyed listening to original country music and the entertainment at the Grand Ole Hatchery.
Mrs. Lindsay is survived by her husband of 71 years, Thomas Patrick “Tom” Lindsay; her son Thomas Gregory Lindsay; her daughter, Sheila Hollaway; 4 brothers, Winford, Palmer, Ronald, and Ernest; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
