Johnny Paul Whited Sr., age 62, of White Bluff, TN, passed away on September 29, 2026. His wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.
Johnny was born on August 16, 1964, in Dickson, TN, to the late Paul L. Whited and Dorothy Jenkins Whited. Johnny worked in asphalt paving for a number of years and could operate just about any piece of machinery. Everyone who knew Johnny knew what a giving man he was; he would literally give you the shirt off his back and always went above and beyond trying to help other people. Johnny was also the one who was always ready for a good time; whether that was tubing, camping or fishing. He enjoyed taking his nieces and nephews on those outings and then later his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Debby Whited, his daughter, Katie Terlecki (David), his son, Johnny Paul Whited II (Jessica), his brothers, Joseph “Bebo” Whited, Keven Whited, his sisters, Pauline Bumbalough (Glenn), Paidy Smith (Joe), Sarah Jackson (Herbie), his dearly loved grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler, Hope, Alex, several nieces and nephews, several honorary grandchildren and his little dog, Maggie.
