Funeral services will be Saturday May 30, 2026 at 4 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Stevens officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday May 30th from 2 PM until time of service. Those desiring memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Judith Anne “Judy” Spence, age 82 of McEwen, TN passed away Wednesday May 27, 2026. Born in Troy, New Hampshire on April 13, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Howard E. and Clara Mae Gordon Stedman and was preceded in death by her grandson, Thomas James “TJ” McQuillan, Jr.; her brothers, Howard P. Stedman and Gordon Elliot “Buddy” Stedman; her sister, Clara Inez Stedman. Judy worked as a Librarian for the Dickson County Public Library. She was a member of Humphreys County Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherri McQuillan (Tom) of Helena, AL, Dawn Davis (Jeff) of McEwen, TN; grandchildren, J.D. “Joshua” Davis, Aidan McQuillan, Andrew McQuillan; great granddaughter, Mia McQuillan.
