June Harrell Herald, age 69 of Southside, TN died on October 15, 2017. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 4pm until 8pm and on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of service. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2pm at the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. James Black officiating. Place of rest will be in the Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
June was born February 8, 1948 in Dickson County. She was a daughter of the late Leamon and Daisy Imogene Ferrell Harrell. She married James Raymond Herald on September 12, 1964. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and mother-in-law. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Herald; her brother, Tommy Harrell.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry Harrell (Lisa) of Southside, TN, Jimmy Herald, and Johnny Herald (Jackie) of Dickson, TN; sister, Cathy Reynolds (Rudy) of Charlotte, TN; 5 grandchildren, Dustin Herald (Krista) of Southside, TN, Chaska Sinks (Michael) of Cunningham, TN, Stephen Harrell (Courtney) of Southside, TN, Rebecca Herald (Paul) of Shelbyville, TN, and Matt Harrell of Southside, TN; 5 great grandchildren, Mason Herald, Colton Herald, Kyleigh Sinks, Lizzy Herald, and Noah Herald; several nieces and nephews.
