Larry Michael Terlecki, Sr., age 76 of Lyles, TN died at home on April 11, 2026 with family by his side. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Burns Baptist Church. The visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. For those desiring, memorials may be made to assist with final expenses.
Larry was born on November 2, 1949 in Dearborn, Michigan. He was a son of the late John and Twylla Jean Boik Terlecki. During his working career, Larry became proficient in many facets of the construction industry. He had a great love for his large family, and he loved spending time with them. He enjoyed hunting and teaching his grandchildren to hunt and enjoy the outdoors. In years past he could often be found cutting up at the old I-40 Restaurant or hanging out at Waffle House.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cherish Terlecki.
Mr. Terlecki is survived by his wife of 32 years, Peggy Plunkett Terlecki; his children, Dawn Terlecki Hansen, Aaron Terlecki, Larry Terlecki II, Jason Terlecki, Brandy Plunkett, Crystal Frazier, and James Michael Terlecki; brother, John Terlecki II; and sister, Helen Wright. Also surviving are 32 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as many other extended family members.
