A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. His wishes were to be cremated and his remains will be interred in the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.

It is with profound sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Lawrence Alexander Harper, who departed this life on June 3, 2026, at 8:56 p.m. in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lawrence was born on September 19, 1950, in Freehold, New Jersey. He lived a life marked by dedication, strength, faith, and service to others. As a proud United States Army Veteran, Lawrence served his country with honor and carried that same sense of commitment into every aspect of his life.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and provider, Lawrence was the cornerstone of his family. He was known for his wisdom, guidance, and unwavering support for those he loved. He took great pride in helping others and leading by example.
Lawrence enjoyed sports, coaching, reading his Bible, working crossword puzzles, and watching classic Western television shows. His love for learning, faith, and family left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Lawrence leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Brenda Harper; his sons, Zerick Harper (Talacquea Harper)and Chris Harper; his grandchildren, Chyna Harper and Christyan Harper; Brother Louis Harper (Jessie Harper) his sisters, Deloris Harper , Rita Harper his Sister’s in law Michelle Harper , Caroline Collier His Brother’s in Law Timmy Collier (Judy) Lamont Collier (Sarah) and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Though he is no longer with us in body, his love, lessons, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Lawrence will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
