Funeral services will be Sunday April 26, 2026 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Matthew Hiatt officiating. Place of rest will be in Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the will be Saturday April 25th from 4 to 6 PM and on Sunday from 12 PM until time of service.
Lisa Gail Bumpus Newby, age 54 of Dickson, TN passed away Wednesday April 15, 2026. Born in Davidson County she was the daughter of the late Joe and Ruby Donegan Newby and was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Newby. She was a member of Dream with me and was the former President of People First Tennessee. Lisa loved to sing and going to Church. She was a member of Burns Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sister, Nancy Fielder (Lynn) of Burns, TN; brothers, Joe T. Newby of Burns, TN, Kenneth E. Newby of Florida; nephews and nieces, Bobby Fielder, Shane Fielder, Anna Beth Fielder, Danielle Fielder, Beau Fielder; great niece, Dolly Cantrell.

Nancy Kay, I was so sorry to read of Lisa Gail passing. I had not seen her since she was a small child, but Helen spoke of her with so much love. She alway’s talked about how good you were to look out for her since your mom had been gone. Please know you are in my prayers during this trying time. God Bless!!
