Lonnie “Dale” Reynolds, age 69 of Dickson, TN died on April 26, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Taylor Funeral Home with W.D. Owen and Kempf Stark sharing memories and words of comfort. Place of rest will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Charlotte, TN. The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Reynolds was born on May 26, 1956 in Dickson, TN. He was a son of the late Glendon Martin Reynolds and the late Wilma Jean Gill Reynolds. Dale made many friendships through Developmental services of Dickson County. He gave back to the community he loved by working at the former K-Mart department store and at Horizon Medical Center. He enjoyed being a part of outdoor family activities and watching birds visit his feeders. He also enjoyed playing card games and fishing. Dale loved to pass the time drinking Pepsi while listening to music and watching movies, especially westerns. He also loved to look at cars; Mustangs were among his favorites.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Mary Jane Cope Reynolds; and two brothers who were twins, Steve Martin Reynolds and Cleve Marvin Reynolds.
Dale is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Sue Warf (Steve) and Cindy Reynolds Stark; nieces and nephews, Brian Warf, Stacey Richardson, Jason Warf, Emily O’Connell; great nieces and nephew, Hailey Warf Roach, Knox Richardson, Sofia Warf; close friend, Kempf Stark; and caregiver, Stephanie Alberd-Sullivan.
