Marcus Andrew “Marc” DeWeese, age 48 of Kingston Springs, TN died on June 12, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Mike Burton officiating. Place of rest will be in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Marc was born on February 9, 1978, in Frankfort, Kentucky. He was a one-of-a-kind person whose presence brought laughter, kindness, and unforgettable memories to everyone who knew him. Above all else, Marc loved his family deeply. They were his world, and the time he spent with them was what mattered most. He was always there with a smile, a helping hand, and a story to share.
Marc had a way of making friends everywhere he went. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people feel like they had known him forever. He was the kind of person who brought people together and always found a reason to enjoy life.
Marc loved the outdoors and the simple things that made memories last — fishing, boating, camping, and spending time with the people he cared about. He loved a good fire, sitting around with family and friends, and enjoying every moment life gave him.
He was a true NASCAR fan and always loved the excitement of the race. Even in a game of chance, Marc was always hoping to come out the winner. He had a competitive spirit, a lucky streak, and a love for having fun.
Marc had a quick wit and a sense of humor that could light up a room. He was always coming up with something funny, always making someone laugh, and always finding a way to make ordinary moments special.
He loved music and especially enjoyed playing the harmonica. Music was a part of who he was, and he shared that joy with those around him.
Marc will be remembered as a loving family man, a loyal friend, a storyteller, and someone who truly knew how to enjoy life. His laughter, kindness, and memories will continue to live on through all the people who were blessed to know him.
He may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts.
Rest peacefully, Marc. You were loved more than words can say.
Marc is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Marie Clark DeWeese; his daughters, Destiny Ethel Marie DeWeese, and Jaylee Alaina Cheyenne DeWeese; his father, Billy J. DeWeese (Becky); his mother, Dorothy “Dotty” Tittle (Gary); his siblings, Jesse Connell, Gabi Taylor, Misty Newman, Jeff Howell; several nieces and nephews as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marc was preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Betty DeWeese, Shelva and Joanne King, Bob McCoy, Lou Miller; and a brother-in-law, Darrell Clark.
