  1. I have so many memories of Jane and Gerald back in the 70’s and 80’s at Calvary Baptist in Ypsilanti MI and the years they helped me me care for my dear mom with Alzheimer’s disease. But even more than that, today I remember all the times I spent with Jane at the home of Don & Shirley and all their family. After my George died I lived in Don & Shirley’s basement for four months while Jane and Gerald were in one of the upstairs bedrooms. We had a houseful, but I’ve always considered the Lee family, “my family”. I cannot be with you today, but know I’m thinking about you, especially tonight and tomorrow. Love ya, Nancy
