My love and sympathy go out to all the family. It was an honor to meet Mrs Overton and to learn about her through Faye and Mary Elizabeth. She was indeed a wonderful and unique lady who loved her family dearly.
Condolences to the family! What a beautiful person she was and heaven just got a good one. I have so many memories of her while growing up in Weldon Springs. Her sense of humor & positive spirit were always present. One of the biggest memories I have is watching Tom Jones weekly while eating potato chips & sour cream dip with her and the Overton family. 😊 There are many more. May God bring peace to the family knowing she is in a better place.
My mom, Marie Lankford Adcock, grew up with Mrs Mary out in the country on Grab Creek. They went all the way through school together and kept in touch through the years. I met her when I drove mom to her class reunions. My mom passed over 10 years ago. Mary Keel Overton was a sweet lady.
