Patricia Anne Valdez, age 83, of Dickson, TN, passed away on June 9, 2026. Her wishes were to be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
Patricia Valdez also known as Patti, was a strong, loving, and unforgettable woman whose presence touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the heart and soul of her family—the glue that held generations together with her unwavering love, strength, humor, and determination. Known for her goofy personality, amazing spirit, and stubborn nature, Patti brought laughter, wisdom, and comfort to those around her.
Patti was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. However, Patti believed that family was about far more than blood. To her, family was built through love, commitment, loyalty, and showing up for one another through life’s joys and challenges. Because of this belief, she was blessed with a large family—not only the relatives she was born into, but also the countless people she welcomed into her heart, nurtured, supported, and loved as her own. Her home, her heart, and her life always had room for one more person in need of love, guidance, or acceptance.
She leaves behind a large family who will forever treasure the countless memories, stories, laughs, and lessons she shared throughout her life. Her love knew no bounds, and the impact she made on those around her will continue to be felt for generations to come.
Though her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved her, her legacy of love, resilience, and family will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. The memories she created will be cherished forever, bringing smiles, laughter, and comfort even in times of sorrow.
Patti has now gone on to reunite with her beloved father and son, whom she had long awaited seeing again. It brings peace to those she leaves behind to imagine them together once more, sharing stories, laughter, and making new memories in eternal peace.
While our hearts are shattered by her loss, we are grateful for the gift of having known and loved her. Patti will be greatly missed, forever cherished, and always remembered. Her spirit, strength, humor, and unconditional love will remain in the hearts of her family and friends, guiding them just as she did throughout her life.
Rest peacefully, Patti. Your love, your laughter, and the family you built through both blood and choice will carry your legacy forward forever.
