Mr. Patrick James Quinlan, age 80 of White Bluff, TN, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed from this life on October 4, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Dickson, TN. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, October 9, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will be conducted on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery.

Patrick was born on May 27, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late John Lawrence Quinlan and the late Mary Helen Giltinen Quinlan. He bravely served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was also of the Catholic Faith. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Vietnam Veterans of America.
He spent most of his working career in Shipping and Receiving for True Value Hardware. He was married to his loving wife, Linda for over 42 years. Mr. Quinlan had a natural ability to draw people into him, and he often took them under his wing, offering guidance, friendship and support. Everyone that met him, really grew to love him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Jack Quinlan and Tom Quinlan; and his sister: Sister Margaret Quinlan.
Survivors include his wife: Linda Quinlan of White Bluff, TN; his brothers: Joe Quinlan of Apopka, FL, and Noel Quinlan (Karen) of Parrish, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

Patrick lived a very interesting life in Vietnam and Beyond a Trrible war! Patrick was in the Navy on board the USS DELUTH! MAY BE WITH ALL THE COMRADES NOW LEFT BEHIND! PATRICK LOVED THE BEARS ALL THE WAY WAITING FOR ANOTHER 1985 TEAM! LOVED HAVING CIGARS WITH YOU PATRICK RIP
