Roger David Manning, age 81 of Burns, passed from this life on June 11, 2026, in his home surrounded by his family. Visitation with the family will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
Roger was born on September 20, 1944, to the late Robert Lee Manning and the late Juanita Anderson in Oceanside, California.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Carolyn Manning of Burns; his children: Neil Manning (Kelly) of Burns and Lea Ann England (Gary) of Dickson; his brother: Gary Sanders (Carolyn) of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren: Amanada Scarbrough (Daniel) of Burns, Myles England of Dickson, and Austin Manning (Gabbie) of Dickson; and one great-grandchild: Ezra Scarbrough.
