Sherry Ann Hedge, age 61 of Dickson, passed away on June 29, 2026, at Horizon Medical Center of Dickson. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Place of rest will be in the Lampley Cemetery in Fairview.
Sherry was born on April 10, 1965, in Nashville, TN, to the late Donald Ray Shadowens and the late Frankie May Nicholson Cherry. She was a very outgoing person who loved to listen to music. She loved to be at the beach any chance she had.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: L.D. Hedge.
Survivors include her children: Danny Hedge (Crystal), Tony Hedge (Elizabeth), Michelle Alexander (Michael), and Chase Hedge (Belle), all of Dickson; her partner, Charles Rayburn, and her brothers: Donald Ray Shadowens (Judy), Gary Shadowens, Sr., Jack Shadowens (Karin), all of Dickson. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Heaven gained a beautiful woman who loved with her whole heart first off momma I would love to apologize for all the stress and worry and the sleepless nights I caused you to go through if I was free from prison or jail I was living wrong and recklessly the nights you would call me just to tell me ur praying for me to change my ways u was worried if i would be killed or overdose or spend life in prison for harming others u would say son as long as ur locked up I can sleep and not worry as much I never understood that I would get upset when you would say that but now i understand why Sorry for all that I put you through u showed all of us the right path to follow the lord as kids how to love and be loyal to family and others I learned a lot from you I just put it into the wrong lifestyle and things I’m so glad I got the chance to show you that ur prayers worked God was working on me he just had to wait until I got out of his way and I Got to the place that only he could get me out of never will I ever go back down that road again tell dad I finally got right in life mom this is going to be hard watch over me and the kids never will we stop loving you and missing you u will always be brought to light. Sherry, I was sad to hear of your passing. You were a wonderful woman who loved deeply and showed everyone so much compassion. We put you through hell when we were growing up. But im glad you were there to see us get it right finally. I didn’t go to your funeral out of respect. Just know you’ve been on my heart and in my mind since you passed. Please watched over Little Tony and Maddy. Your passing cause them a lot of grief because of the time they lost due to some of my failures. They are great kids Sherry. Madison reminds me a lot of you she also favors you a lot. I hope you are at peace in heaven. Rest easy and know you were loved by everyone you met. ❤️
