Susan Leigh Daniel Smith, age 54 passed away May 20, 2026 after her battle with cancer. Her wishes were to be cremated and no services planned at this time. Susan was a 1989 graduate of Dickson County High School.
Survivors include her husband, Eric Smith; her children, Abigail Nelson, Jackson Smith; her step-daughter, Tara Haggerton and her husband Jake; her parents, Charles and Jane Jackson Daniel; brother, Chuck Daniel and his wife Jessica; sister, Ellen Daniel Davidson and her husband Keith.
The family will never forget the support and encouragement we received during the illness and eventual loss of our precious daughter Susan. The visits, prayers, cards, flowers and food were all rays of light in this very dark period of time for us. Thanks to all. Charlie and Jane Daniel, Chuck and Ellen.
