A memorial service for Taylor Mercades Manley, age 23 of Dickson, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with eulogies by Robert Rhoads, Devante Kennedy, and Misty Garrett. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 p.m. until service time. Taylor passed away suddenly an unexpectedly on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
Taylor was born July 8, 1994 to Angie Manley and Clark Hughes. She was a 2013 graduate of DCHS. She was a previous student of the cosmetology program at TCAT Dickson. She also enjoyed spending time with her little brother and sister, Josiah and Antalya (Cheeksie), they were her world. Taylor loved taking drives in the car, listening to music, and stopping to sing and dance in the rain whenever the weather permitted. She will be loved and missed very much. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Naomi Odom, Earnest and Tommie Hughes, and uncles, Edward Hughes and Billy Dixon, all of Dickson.
She is survived by her parents, Angie Manley and Clark Hughes, both of Dickson; her devoted grandfather, Phillip Manley, Dickson; brothers, Anthony Marsh and Josiah Johnson; sister Antalya Johnson, all of Dickson; special great-uncle, Carl Manley, Dickson; special great-aunt Betsy Lubs (Fred), Athens, GA; special uncles, Chris Hughes, Clarksville, and Louis Dixon (Reva), Antioch, TN; special aunts, Marilyn Edmondson (Thomas), Burns, and Portia Wilson, Clarksville; a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
